My name is Jon and I got into photography during the pandemic when I bought my first interchangeable lens camera and lenses. I know picking a platform is an important step and after researching, I opted to go with Sony. I purchased the Sony α7 III body and a Tamron 28-75 mm f/2.8 lens as my starter setup.
After getting the equipment, I registered in an online photography course to learn the basics of aperture, shutter speed, and ISO along with other basic photography skills. I then began experimenting with taking different kinds of photos to see what I enjoyed photographing. I gravitated toward wildlife and birds which lead to me purchasing the Sigma 150-600 mm f/5.6-6.3 Sport lens.
On this site I share the images that I find most striking and hope to eventually make some available for purchase.
